We Raised the Money

I met the Jonas Brothers in Philly! My 3 friends and I raised $6,025.00 for "Change for the Children". On Thursday I got to the wachovia center at 1 and the concert didn't start until 7. So we were just walking around and we saw John Taylor waiting by the gate for his "momma". So I got to talk to him for a half an hour! He was sooo sweet and nice. We talked about the Phillies and how they had a 10 game winning streak and the road dogs and everything. I told him about the fundraiser we had for "Change for the Children" and he said he would definitely tell JB about it. My mom's a type 1 diabetic like Nick too. So then Friday when i went to the second concert in Philly I brought a sign the said "We raised $6,025.00 for "Change for the children". On of their crew members saw it, and brought us backstage! I have never seen them look so happy! Nick was glowing! Joe didn't know what to say and Kevin couldn't believe. They all hugged me four times and couldn't stop thanking me! Then as we walked out Big Rob was like "Wait, these girls did so much! I want a picture with them!" so we got a picture with Big Rob. Then we were walking down the hall, and the girl who brought us backstage was like, "I think Denise would like to hear about what you did" So we want in another room and met her. She couldn't believe and it! I told her about my mom being diabetic and she almost dieing 2 summers ago when the doctors didn't know too much about her disease. I told her how my mom call Nick her hero and how she looks up to him. She started to cry and gave me a HUGE hug.
