Brazilian saxophonist Miguel Gandelman talked to Abril [Via NickJOnline] about touring with the Jonas Brothers. On traveling with JB: They are very young. Around them is always business, the father, the entrepreneur, but the guys are still young. So they need to be next to young people. They are always there with us, always playing ping pong, playing baseball, and always go together.
On the concerts: I was playing on stage and that necking of people wanting to get on top of you, a girl came and untied my shoe. The other day one came and took my glasses. It is an unbelievable deal, one shouting. Are the boys in turn are with Disney behind them. We went to Brazil and played for 60 thousand people. For me as a Brazilian was unbelievable, everyone sang song by song.
How are they as musicians? Nick is the most talented right? They are all very talented. The oldest [Kevin] plays guitar, the middle [Joe] sings very well and Nick is the master of the situation. They are very talented people which respect the work of music and the time it takes to invest in music. They are very professional. Nick, I could say, is music director of the situation, but they are very talented boys. Their father is a musician too, was a minister, singer and pianist.
