Rolling Stone reviewed Nick Jonas' solo album Who I Am, to be released Feb. 2, 2010. Nick said: 'I hope that when people listen to it, they listen with unbiased ears.' He recorded the tracks that 'that weren’t good for the Jonas Brothers,' at Nashville’s Blackbird Studio with three former members of Prince’s New Power Generation. Nick & The Administration recorded 'Who I Am' in eight days.
Titles including 'In the End' and 'Olive and the Arrow' explore Seventies blue-eyed soul, while R&B tunes such as 'Rose Garden' echo John Mayer. Nick said: 'It’s very much like a Sixties or Seventies thing we played together as a band and recorded with very few overdubs.' According to RS, Nick will road-test the music for a short tour to promote the disc.
