Nick Jonas is a Parade Person

Channeling a bit of Jesse McCartney on the cover of Parade magazine, Nick Jonas chills out in the back of a car on the cover of the newest issue of the mag.

The 17-year-old musician chatted with the mag about going solo, who he really is and his famous romances. Check it:

On his brothers being with him through everything: “We make decisions together—even when we’re doing things individually. Going into my first solo album, it’s good to know that they were excited. There’s been a good vibe from the get-go.”

On his on-again off-again romance with Selena Gomez: “It’s a lot more boring than anyone wants to think.”

On the true meaning of “Who I Am”: “That song is about someone loving me for who I am. It’s saying that it’s important for me to be comfortable with myself first. One of the biggest things I think people struggle with, even at my age, is self-confidence—feeling comfortable in their skin and wanting to find someone who loves them for that.”
